Richmond Family Updates

Christi, we are all thinking about you, praying for you, sending love to you. I called last night when you were resting and talked to your wonderful daughter. You are so blessed to have such a loving support team. Keep the momentum going, don’t listen to the naysaying doctors who are not used to dealing with a Golemb– you can BEAT THIS! If anyone can, you can. You have so many people on your side, fighting with you.

When you come to NYC to visit Sloan Kettering, we will take care of you. In the meantime, please call Helen. She’s gone through all of this, has done a tremendous amount of research so it could save you a lot of fact-finding time. She’s a wonderful, spiritual, caring person. I know you would get a lot of encouragement talking to her.

Since the day I had met you both on Thanksgiving of 1996, you were so welcoming, loving & so genuine. When I think of you & your family it brings such a smile to my face & so much joy in my heart!! You are such a powerful & special family!! I truly feel blessed to have met you 15 years ago, & to have enjoyed many special & priceless moments with you & your family!!! I was always envious of Becky for having 2 unbelievably strong Christian forces in her life. You are an inspiration to me, & such positive role models as well as to many others!!!
I just want to say THANK YOU for always being so loving, understanding & non-jugemental towards me. The feeling of uncondtional loves pours out of both of you & is so AMAZING & comforting!!
Chris you are quite possibly the sweetest woman that I have ever met, you’re gracious, loving & such a beautiful servant of God. His hand is on you, & all of your friends & family behind you!!! Thank you for all the love & support that you have given to Chance & I over the years, we LOVE YOU so much, appreciate you & will be continually praying. Chris, we love you and are praying for you. Sandy’s sister, Margo, had level 4 cancer as well. Here is the experimental drug treatment they gave her. She is now cancer free. It consists of 3 parts:
Experimental drug # CP-751,871 with Chemo: PacLitaxe L carbop Latin

We are praying along with so many others for you all but especially for you Dear Chris!
I have always admired you in so many ways and hope you continue to draw on God’s love for your strength and healing and the example of your life.
Why are we put through so many things in life that we can never imagine we would have to face? I know your faith will lead you in this and so many friends, us included, and family will be with you. Dear Chris,
“Some trust in chariots, and some in horses, but we will trust in the name of the Lord our God.” I don’t know what to recommend to you for treatment, but I do know that ultimately, God is sovereign, and that He is the One to trust. I hope and pray you find something that can give you relief from pain and curb the advancement of the cancer. But no matter what, or how dark the hour, may you find God’s mighty arms tight around you, holding you up and giving you peace. We constantly are thinking about you and praying for you.
