Going Green!

(Written by Becky)

We’re just about switched to organic foods, glass containers (no plastic) and special oxygenated water in the Richmond household!

Mom and I went to a Whole Foods store today and Mom was so excited at all the choices.

You’ll have to ask Dad about the oxygenated and energized water because I don’t understand it. All I need to do is make carrot juice a few times a day. :)

We’re still waiting on a few phone calls to Sloan Kettering for an appointment sooner than the one we have in three weeks. Please continue to pray we get a consultation there soon.

Is that the Honest Weight Food Coop? One of my favorite places to visit!
Do you get their coupons? They come about once a month in the clipper magazine (the magazine might have a different name now- but used to be called the clipper). There are usually 2 coupons per month for $5 off $50 and $15 off $100. I’m not sure how much you are spending there, but I’m sure we have a $15 off $100 coupon laying around the house somewhere that we wont use (I think we already used the $5 off $50). Ask Adam for details.
Also, another money saving tip: did you know that they are charging you for the bags that they provide you in the store? You can bring your own bags (or any other container) to use, just have them weighed at the counter when you walk in. Wash these bags when you’ve used up the product that was in them and re-use. It’s a great way to save money and reduce your carbon footprint : )
We’re keeping you all in our prayers.

Lisa,
This is, indeed, Honest Weight Food Coop! Coupons very much appreciated! Thank you! Can you send it in with Adam? We definitely spent $100 there in stocking up on some spices, etc. We brought our own bags, so we knew that part.
Thanks!
Beck

Chris, you look so good, especially in front of those nice organic veggies. Good thing green is your color! We pray daily for you, love you sister.
