Mother’s Day
Today, I choose faith instead of fear. Perfect love casts out fear, and my heavenly Father has PERFECT love for me. Mother’s day was very special with my husband, my kids and grandkids. I am feeling great…(actually better this week than I’ve felt in a long time). I am believing God is hearing the cries of many on my behalf. My grandson (Johnny, age 6) told me that when they asked people to come up for prayer this am in his church, he went forward and asked the church to pray for his Nana and the “whole church prayed, even the kids”.
MANY people in many places are interceeding on my behalf and soon there will be shouts of praise all over the world to give our GOD the glory for the GREAT THINGS HE HAS DONE.
This battle is great, and the victory will be GREAT! Thank you for daily seeking God on my behalf and my family.
~Chris

Hi my friends! I am praying for you unceasingly. I am just exasperated that you and your precious family have to endure this trial. I am so blessed to be able to be a prayer warrior on your behalf and have faith that God’s healing hand is upon you and His will will prevail! I await his blessing expectantly and look forward to laughing in the face of the evil one who thinks he has won this battle. May God release you from this earthly disease, that you may continue in His work on a spiritual level. We need you here and look forward to many years of ministry together. I love you so much and look forward to seeing you soon! May God’s light shine upon you, in you and continue to flow through you my sister! God speed!!!!! AMEN!

John & Chris
Thanks for this blog opportunity and keeping your YFC family updated. WE have already been praying for you Chris, asking God to care for you and give the doctors great wisdom. We will continue praying this week as you go through further testing.
I have passed on your blog to our Southern States YFC Chapters asking all to remember you during this time.
His love,

Chris,
I want you to know that we love you and are praying for you as well. I called my Mom the other day and asked her to tell your story to her weekly bible study group, and they are all praying for you daily.
When we were told that Nicholas had a PDA and would have to have surgery at age three if it did not close by then, I was crushed. At age 2, the doctor said that because it hadn’t closed yet, it wouldn’t. I wasn’t going to stop believing that God was bigger than this and that he could heal Nicholas dispite what the professionals have seen in the past. The scripture that I stood on that year before his 3yr appointment was Matthew 21:22″And all things, whatsoever ye shall ask in prayer, believing, ye shall receive.”
We went to the appt and the echocardiogram tech got done and said “you can go back to the room and wait for the doctor, he will be in to see you after he has a chance to digest this. Mind you, when we were there the year before, given the news, I remember saying out loud that God could heal him and Dr. V. saying “well let’s hope”. So the doc came in and I immediately turned my back to him and just held Nichiolas. He said “well, I guess this is the last time we will be seeing you” tears pouring down my face, I turned around and said ‘what did you just say?’ Yes, thats right, the hole had closed….against all medical odds. This is a doc who’s own daughter has DS and operates on children with DS everyday…..he is also the president of the Down syndrome Aim High resource center. So, I and everyone involved, experienced a miracle.
God is bigger than cancer. Stand on His word and thank Him in advance.
